File consists of photographs (many with captions) taken at: Bistro 990 with Austin Clarke, Susan Musgrave, Hayden Carruth, Tom Hedley, Leon Rooke, Stephanie Rayner, Nigel Dixon, Pierre Morency, Hugh Graham, John Reeves, Ray Ellenwood, John Montague, and Claire Dé; an evening at Harbourfront to celebrate Exile at which William Ronald painted his Exile painting (the painting was given to the Toronto Reference Library), the Down Child Blues Band played, and strippers performed; and at the farm with John Montague, his partner Elizabeth Wassell, Stephen Williams, and son Michael Callaghan. The photographs are accompanied by clippings of newspaper articles regarding the literary events.
