File consists of a notebook. The front half of the volume records wages paid to shipyard workers beginning 14 July 1806. The second half of the notebook lists the types of timber used in ship construction with notes and tables related to shipbuilding. This part also includes records for shipping masts "On account of Robertson Forsyth & Co." through Moss Cove, Quebec. The notebook was used by Mossington while visiting Lower Canada to procures ships' masts.
