For access, conservation and/or storage reasons, the book “Petal Thoughts: Yvonne Vera – a Biography” by Vera’s mother, Ericah Gwetai, published by Mambo Press, Zimbabwe, 2008 has been separated for cataloguing by Special Collections.
Sarah Kastner’s file folder describes this as the Mary Polito fonds, since the materials were accumulated by Polito in the course of her friendship with Vera. To assist researchers they have been included as part of the Yvonne Vera fonds.
