File consists of media releases, memorandums, meeting notes, and conference materials related to the activities of the CEC’s Media Committee. Also included in the file is a newspaper article from the Toronto Star on racism in the media. Added to the file is a letter to the former Premiere of Ontario, David Peterson from the National Congress of Italian Canadians on the publication of two inflammatory articles in the Toronto Sun by McKenzie Porter, and meeting minutes of the CEC’s Media Subcommittee meeting held on April 10 1990, with John Sotos’ handwritten notes.
