        Amelia Curran is a Canadian singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer from St. John's, Newfoundland. She composes and produces indie, alternative country, and folk music. Curran has been the recipient of many awards, including a Juno award in 2010 for Roots and Traditional Album of the Year: Solo and a Canadian Folk Music Award for Artist of the Year. "She has co-founded "It's Mental", a grassroots community organization that focuses on the funding and sharing of knowledge on mental health realities and first aid mental health training to help safeguard communities, families, and friends."
